More About Cody Miracle
Cody Miracle is a dedicated and passionate advocate for sustainability. She is currently the program director of World Smart Week, an organization that educates and activates youth about global environmental challenges.
Born in Oregon, Cody grew up with a love of nature and outdoor activities. She graduated from Oregon State University with a degree in environmental studies. After college, she moved to Seattle, Washington, and began working as an intern for Sustainability Now, a nonprofit focused on promoting sustainable practices. Through her work there, she developed an understanding of the pressing environmental issues facing the world today.
In 2016, Cody joined forces with World Smart Week to help create their flagship event – World Smart Week Summit. The summit is designed to provide young people with the knowledge they need to become agents of positive change in their communities. The summit has attracted more than 20,000 participants from around the world and has received praise from many notable figures including former United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and former President Barack Obama.
Since then, Cody has been heavily involved in advocating for sustainability both through her work at World Smart Week and other organizations such as the Global Citizen Initiative which aims to raise awareness about global poverty. She also serves on the board of directors for EarthRights International which works to protect human rights around the world through legal advocacy initiatives.
Cody Miracle’s dedication and passion for creating a sustainable future are evident through her work with numerous organizations across multiple continents over the last decade. Her expertise in sustainability has enabled her to inspire countless people to make meaningful changes in their lives that will ultimately benefit our planet as a whole.
